Default Top Rolling Road Day at Jamsport

Just like to say thanks for organising a top rolling road day at Jamsport, and what a brilliant turn out! Had a really good laugh, and have seen some top motors today.

Special thanks to NUTS RuS for taking me for a spin in his rally RS1600i, all I can say is what a beast, that car is shocking, very quick in a straight line and round the corners, brilliant!! The scarest thing is it's only 1600cc, I though it was a 2 litre, 180bhp odd out of a 1.6 non turbo that is awesome! Many thanks again.

Well done to guys at Jamsport for getting things moving quickly after the computer problems early in the day. And the funest thing I heard all day was Dan from Jamsport saying he has managed 4bhp on push bike, thats got to be the most impressive 4bhp ever!

Top day all round, nice meeting you all. Given me a good incentive to sort out the 95bhp shed now! Cheers again.

And the drive home with cosevo/quickie probaly least said soonest mended, but had fun and hopefully all got home safe and sound

Thanks to all again especially coxy and claire who did all the leg work and all this from just an idea when posting crap on this site (see something does come of it)

Top Day as I think everyone will agree. Apart from my old shed also only hitting 95bhp, just gotta talk the missus into letting me have some dosh to get things sorted.

Nice to meet some of you, can finally put faces to names which is good, except in 'quickies' case I'll just try and forget the face

Great drive home as well with pete-rsi and quickie + 1(sorry didnt know your passengers name), got a lot of it on video tape so if you two wanna copy on CD I'll sort it for next time we meet.

Also got some cracking photos, will put them up over the next few days, as computer is playing up , and sorting it tomorrow.

If I post pics does anyone have any objection to no. plates being shown or would you prefer them removed

Thanks for letting me be a part of today - I really appreciate it. Nice to meet those that identified themselves.... and those that didn't.

Cheers to Paul for the organisation.... Spot on - and a GOOD choice of venue.

Some very nice looking and sounding cars there today - I really am a little jealous of all those mint ones.

Ad, anytime mate just a pity about all the bloody Saturday afternoon traffic

Just looking at the data logger in my ECU now - Jamie stopped revving it at 7639rpm - I told him it will go safely to 8000. He backed off on the soft cut rev limit which explains the 178 figure At least his rollers were reading spot on with a previous known figure from two days earlier.

Keep us updated on the tour - If it doesn't clash with anything I'll be there - as your a geat bunch of enthusiasts.

Cheers
Tony
