Hi,

I have a 53 plate Ford Fiesta and the engine manager light came on. I've just recently had it serviced and MOT. The garage gave me the fault code: P0030 - P0030 HO2S Heater Control Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

Can this be fixed easily ? I've just phoned the Ford Garage and they still want to charge me £80 to hook it up to the machine to "double check". Could I even fix this myself or any one know of a garage in the Birmingham area?

Probably wants a new pre-cat lambda sensor.

check the relay (heating circuit) and you can do a basic test on the lamba sensor with a multi meter (resistance test)
