Default bodybuilding raw eggs ??

Just wondering if people eat there eggs raw to save time etc ? ? Or would the possible risk of them being contaminated with salmonella put you off?

Very unlikely you would get salmonella, but its more advisable to use Whey Protein. Better quality of protein against the casein found in eggs, and its much nicer to drink!

Raw eggs are a great way of getting protien bud. Break 2 eggs into a protien shake. You will then have another 12g's of protien

I would not go for anymore than 6 raw's a day though...... Can make you feel a bit sicky!

Your just as well eating them cooked as you are raw, as said there are plenty of other options for quick and easy protein.

So if I take the yoke out of a hard boiled egg that's an extra 6g of protein? With minimum fat.

I down ten egg whites every morning and also eat a bowl of oats and some fruit.

Have done this for the past year no problems...

Some days I may have up to 30 egg whites through out the days.

Eggs have the best amino profile

My misses did a food hygene cousre, and told me that if you buy Lloyds eggs (dont quote me on that, but sure that was the make, you'll have to google it) then they are guranteed samonela free, as they screen and test all their birds for dieseaes and the like.

I thought it was law that all chickens that lay are samonela free? myprotien do egg whites in a bottle, haven't tried it. I do as was posted above by Mr Brannen hard boil eggs and remove the yolk. Keep a box full in the fridge and eat between meals.
